Canada’s national police agency says it has arrested a Toronto man who appeared in a post on Facebook where he bragged about allegedly making child pornography using his iPhone X.
Police say they learned about the posts from a concerned citizen and alerted social media company Facebook last Friday.
Four days later, police arrested the man as he left the Pearson International Airport.
Earlier Tuesday, the Toronto Police Service confirmed on Twitter that they had arrested a Toronto man who allegedly “threatened to share child pornography to others.”
The man — who was not identified — also bragged about having an iPhone X, which he has allegedly used to download child pornography onto his computer, according to police.
Video footage released by police shows the man allegedly answering questions posted on the Facebook page.
In the video, posted July 8, the man is seen wearing a dark hat, glasses and white dress shirt. After the questions start, he gets the first question before unbuttoning his coat to expose the back of his black jacket and his chest tattoo.
“Here are the photos. I made a girl when I was 16 years old,” he says.
The man appeared to brag about never having reported a child porn charge.

“See, I never reported it. That’s called what you call a panic button, right? Yeah, you don’t call police. Call me,” he said.
Despite repeatedly denying that he had ever made child pornography, police say the man showed a pattern of talking about the illegal acts and using boastful and boastful language to hide the fact that he was doing them.
“It was a specific issue he was concerned about him breaking,” Det. Eric Laforest told CNN.
“When we went in and interviewed him, he said if he didn’t post the posts he was going to break into my home and kill me and/or somebody else, saying he would find my Apple iPhone X and he was going to post it, where he had hidden it (put it) in the pipe.”
